Family Honor Chairman of the Board J Seth has announced that John Peterson has joined the Family Honor Board of Directors.
Mr. Peterson, an attorney practicing in Fort Mill, South Carolina is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) with a B.S. in Accounting and received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
He indicated that he is very supportive of Family Honor’s family-centered approach to chastity education and firmly believes that families can assist their children in making a commitment to chastity, stating “As the father of 11 children, I have always admired the work and mission of Family Honor. Through prayer and discernment, I believe this is where God is calling me to serve. With God’s grace, and within Family Honor’s mission, I look forward to helping families transmit the truth and beauty of marriage and family life.”
Peterson and his wife, Stacy, have been married for 24 years and their children range in age from 2-21. They are certified NFP (Natural Family Planning) Instructors and enjoy lots of family activities such as music, swimming and camping.
