Does Family Honor have resources in Spanish?

How do I explain to children what adultery is?

What do you have to offer for parents with high-school age teens?

Those are just a few of the questions that were answered in Family Honor’s recent Seminar titled: “The Birds, The Bees and The Family.”

The Seminar was delivered in early November by Family Honor Director of Programs and Training, Vincent Weaver, and Executive Director Brenda Cerkez. Approximately 45 ministry leaders from the Diocese of Charlotte, North Carolina attended.

The event, which was held at the Catholic Conference Center in Hickory, North Carolina, was done as part of continuing education for catechetical leaders. Those present included adult youth ministry leaders, catechists and directors of religious education from parishes around the Diocese.

Those present not only heard about recent research on the family and the highlights of Pope Francis’ recent Apostolic Exhortation, The Joy of Love, they also had a chance to participate in some segments of Family Honor programs and see portions of Family Honor programs on video.
