Check Out These New Opportunities
This year is shaping up to be an exciting one, as Family Honor explores some new opportunities to serve families in 2016. Here are some things to watch for:
♦ Family Honor program on the West Coast – Parents in the Los Angeles area can now register for the Leading & Loving program that Family Honor will deliver on March 4 and 5 at St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church in Inglewood, CA. We don’t get to the other side of the country too often, so we encourage those in the LA area to take advantage of this opportunity. Although Leading & Loving is a parent-only program geared towards those who have young children (ages infant – 11 years old), the basic concepts discussed can benefit any parent who is looking for help in communicating with their child on chastity, virtue, love, sex and marriage.
♦ Family Honor programming in the Southwest – we are currently exploring some program options in Arizona, with a long-term goal of establishing a team there. More details will be available as plans are firmed up.
♦ Family Honor in the Midwest – I’ll be presenting to a Catholic conference in Minnesota in April. This will be the first time for Family Honor to deliver a talk in this beautiful state and we’ll have more details in our future e-news.
♦ Family Honor Webinars – Look for at least one – or possibly two – new webinars coming in mid-to-late Spring. We will likely have one for parents and teens to attend together and another for adults only. If you’d like to be added to our special notification list for webinars, please email us at: email@example.com
♦ Family Honor Partnerships – We are continuing to look for opportunities to partner with like-minded organizations to bring you special offers, discounts and events. If you haven’t already, check out Covenant Eyes and the Catholic Conference 4 Moms, and stay tuned for more announcements in the coming months.
♦ Family Honor Giveaways – Parents – be on the alert! We’ll be making periodic announcements via our Facebook and web site regarding free book offers.
As always, I appreciate your interest in our work and am grateful for any and all prayers, support and volunteer time given to Family Honor! God bless! – Brenda Cerkez, Executive Director
