Since we announced Family Honor’s planned January 2020 Pilgrimage to Jordan and the Holy Land, we’ve had some significant interest from people in South Carolina and beyond. Thus, at this point (in mid-May), the pilgrimage is half-full already.
We are tremendously excited that so many have signed up so soon, and we encourage others who are thinking of joining us to please consider registering in the next few weeks, especially since we plan to limit the number of pilgrims to 35.
Background on Family Honor Pilgrimages
As many of you know, over the past few years, Family Honor has led men and women on spiritual journeys that have taken us and our fellow travelers to Poland – in the footsteps of Pope St. John Paul II and St. Faustina – and to the Shrines of France, to visit holy sites significant in the life of St. Therese of Lisieux, St. John Vianney, St. Bernadette, St. Vincent DePaul, St. Catherine Laboure, and more.
Pilgrims have come back in awe of what they have seen and heard. They have commented on the incredible stories of the saints whose holy sites they visited, and the beauty of the shrines and cathedrals. They have enjoyed the warmth of fellowship and the new friendships they have developed with other pilgrims.
And they have appreciated the daily Mass offered in simple or stunning settings by Family Honor’s Spiritual Director, along with the opportunities for private prayer and devotions.
Most importantly, our pilgrims have returned spiritually refreshed, and with a deeper appreciation of their faith, and the rich heritage of those men and women who lived lives of heroic virtue as they grew – and often suffered – for their love of God.
The world can be a restless and sad place, but we invite you to find peace, joy, and the love of Christ as you journey to where our Lord lived, prayed, worked, and suffered. Come away with us on this very special pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Jordan. For details and registration info, go to: https://www.catholicheritagetours.com/fhbc
