Providing a Catholic framework on the truth and meaning of sexuality, love, and family

News Updates from Family Honor for February

Family Honor at the Catholic Conference 4 Moms
We’re happy to let you know that Family Honor will have an exhibit table at the Catholic Conference 4 Moms on Saturday, February 20 at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Greenville, South Carolina. Family Honor Executive Director Brenda Cerkez will be at the table with information and resources for parents. Stop by and say hello!

Summer Semester
Family Honor will be holding a special Summer Semester for our online course, The Truth and Meaning of Sexuality, Love and Family. Watch for the start date and other details in an eblast coming in the next month.
To be added to the notification list for the Summer Semester, send us an email at: and provide your full name, the diocese you are in, whether you are in need of scholarship assistance for the course and if so, how much. (Tuition for the full course is $500.)

Translating Our Programs
Family Honor recently purchased translation equipment to use in our programs with Spanish-speaking parents.
The equipment consists of headphones for 15 parents and microphones for translators, and it is being used regularly. Host sites and parents are expressing much appreciation that Family Honor is able to bring this equipment to programs so that all parents who register are able to listen and understand program content. However, since we only have one set we have to mail it from one state to another, depending on where it is needed in any given month! If anyone is interested in donating designated funds to purchase one or two more sets for us to use, please contact Family Honor for details:

Good Stewardship
Just a reminder as we get closer to ‘tax time’ … if you would like a personal consultation with an advisor from The Stewardship Foundation regarding how to make non-cash gifts to Family Honor (i.e. stocks, insurance, artwork, etc.) please contact Jim Kebe at The Stewardship Foundation. Family Honor has partnered with The Stewardship Foundation and that means your questions with regard to charitable giving are just a phone call or email away. Contact Jim directly by emailing him at: or call The Stewardship Foundation at: 614.800.7985. For more info about The Stewardship Foundation, please go to:
