After nearly a year of prayer, recruitment efforts, phone calls, interviews, and discernment, Family Honor is happy to announce that we have hired a new executive director!

We welcome Mr. Daniel West to Family Honor! He will assume the role of executive director in early August.

For the past 12 years Daniel has worked for the Archdiocese of Atlanta as Director of the Marriage Preparation program. As part of his duties there, he directed major diocesan events; created and directed ongoing faith formation opportunities; and presented marriage-building and marital chastity workshops at parishes. He has also created curriculum and served as a course instructor for candidates of the Diaconate Program.

Daniel has a Master’s degree in Theology & Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville and an undergraduate degree in International Affairs from Georgia Tech.  He is fluent in Italian and conversant in Spanish.

He is married to Michelle and they are the parents of 8 beautiful children – as you can see from the photo!

Another Major Announcement

In the meantime, we are also announcing that Daniel and our Family Honor office are both moving to the Greenville, South Carolina area!

We are currently looking for office space in one of the following locations: Greenville, Simpsonville, Mauldin, or Easley. Our plan is to move by the end of July.

Special Request:

If you or someone you know has office space they would like to rent or donate to Family Honor, please contact Family Honor right away:

803.929.0858 or email us at: info@familyhonor.org

Family Honor is truly entering an exciting new era and we continue to need your prayers. Here are some specific intentions to keep in mind, as you join us in asking for wisdom and grace from the Holy Spirit:

… for Daniel and his wife to find a suitable home in South Carolina to accommodate their family;

… for Family Honor to find reasonably priced office space in the Upstate to meet our needs;

… for our board of directors and Daniel to find additional men and women to serve as Family Honor board members;

… for outgoing executive director Brenda to effectively coordinate all the planning details during the transition to the new executive director.

Thanks, everyone!
