“Everyone did a fantastic job! I thoroughly enjoyed having the teen/adult children of the presenters also be a part of the presentation.”  — parent comment

Family Honor delivered two Changes & Challenges programs this Summer and both proved to be a hit with the parents and children who attended.

The Changes & Challenges program is for 5th or 6th grade children to attend with their parents. It is designed to be a both a gentle introduction to puberty and a special bonding time for moms and daughters and dads and sons.

In early July, our Upstate, South Carolina team delivered a Changes & Challenges program to families at Our Lady of the Rosary in Greenville, SC. Then, in late July, a combination of our Columbia, SC team and Greenville team presented the program at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Columbia.

The parents who attended these programs gave high marks to the program content and our Family Honor Presenters:

“I enjoyed hearing others perspectives and advice.”

“Very educational without going into ALL the detail.”

“I am interested in having the next level [program] available in Columbia. I know that between my sister, my cousin, and myself, we have 4 children that we’d like to go through that program. Thank you!”

“It’s very helpful to hear what they felt was appropriate to discuss at this age and what other parents had reviewed with their children.”

At a time when the culture is often trying to weaken the parent-child relationship, Family Honor programs can help you and your child strengthen your bond, enhance your communication, and provide a special memory of time spent together to hear the truth and beauty of  God’s plan for being created male and female.
