One of the great joys of Family Honor has been the grace of serving men, women, and families from a variety of states, countries, and nationalities. Did you know that, over the years, individuals from Canada, Philippines, South Africa, and Brazil have participated in our training courses?
♥ Likewise, we’ve delivered our family-centered programs in numerous states across the U.S. and also in British Columbia in Canada.
♥ Orders for our resources consistently come in from all over the United States
♥ And, when we organized and hosted four national conferences on the Theology of the Body, participants came from over 30 states, with a few international attendees as well.
In the last few years, one of our recent blessings has been serving Hispanic families in several areas. Our Family Honor Presenters have delivered programs to Hispanic moms and dads in California, South Carolina, and, most recently, Tennessee.
Currently, our bilingual team of Presenters from Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina are undergoing intensive preparations to deliver – for the first time – our weekend training course, Understanding the Human Person, completely in Spanish (in North Carolina in February). As part of that effort, quite a bit of material is being translated by our Presenters, new PowerPoints are being made, and additional research on course topics is being done. A primary goal of this course is to add more bilingual Family Honor Presenters in the Carolinas so we can increase our service to Hispanic families.
On December 12, as we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, please pray that more bilingual men and women will be called to become Family Honor Presenters, and, as a result, the truth and meaning of God’s gift of sexuality, will be proclaimed to even more families and young people!
